Eastern Counties Rugby Union

E.C Coaching team were pleased to welcome 50 women for trials at Thetford on Sunday 27th November all competing for a chance to play representative rugby at County and EC level.

Spirits were high on a great day for women's rugby, the skills demonstrated by the players joining us from 9 different clubs impressed the coaching team lead by Teresa Ford Dunn.

Out of the 50 that trialled 36 are being invited back to join us on the 22nd January at Shelford RFC for squad trials and training'. We thank those who attended but were unsuccessful this time we sincerely hope to see them again in the future and wish them all the best for the season.

The turn out was really impressive by many clubs, the players that arrived all trained hard for their positions and it was a pleasure being surrounded by so many enthusiastic female rugby players, the season ahead is looking great for EC women's rugby.
