Cambridgeshire Rugby Football Union (CRFU)

Cambridgeshire RFU is seeking to appoint an Honorary Secretary with immediate effect.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates capable of fulfilling the following Role Description:

• To liaise with the Chair/Vice Chair to ensure proper governance of CRFU
• Preparation of agendas for AGM and other meetings of CRFU
• Taking minutes of meetings with prompt distribution of same
• Management of correspondence to and from CRFU
• Keeping the RFU GMS profile for CRFU up to date
• Deputise for the Chair/Vice Chair if required and as agreed
• Populate the CRFU web site and social media with timely relevant information

Candidates will be fully IT literate and expected to have excellent verbal and communication skills together with the ability to manage meetings and group discussion.
Remuneration will be expense based, commensurate with the hours worked and in line with ECRFU guidelines for an expected average of 4 hours secretarial work per month.
