DPP Coaching Opportunity in Eastern Counties
Eastern Counties are offering an exciting opportunity for coaches to join the new U16s Girls England Rugby Development Player Programme.
You will be a member of the DPP coaching team coaching a talented group of U16s girls from across Eastern Counties.
The programme consists of 8 session and runs from 19th September 2022 & the 27th February 2023 on Monday evenings, applicants should submit their rugby CV along with a covering letter to coaching@ecrurugby.com

Eastern Counties Developing Player Programme Coach
Description: The DPP Coach is a voluntary role in the Eastern Counties RU DPP pathway. The role will involve assisting the Head DPP coach, other DPP and S&C coaches to deliver a holistic development programme to identified players at your centre.
Reports to: DPP Centre Head Coach
Salary: Voluntary post: We will cover your travel expenses & provide you with ECRU DPP training kit.
Tenure: Reviewed Annually
Primary Responsibilities:
To plan and deliver a programme of sessions that fit the objectives of the DPP pathway programme working with the centres head coach
To educate and hold players accountable to the ECRU DPP standards & expectations
To assist with the delivery of player education
To be actively involved in the assessment of players within the DPP
Essential:
UKCC Level 2 award
Enhanced RFU DBS check
A valid First Aid Certificate is highly desirable
Be able to demonstrate significant commitment to their personal and professional development
Be computer literate – able to communicate effectively using e-mail and web platforms
Have the ability to communicate effectively with players, parents and coaches to assist players with self-reflection and setting of appropriate development goals
