Connie Powell selected for Eng U18 TDG

selected for the England Women U18 Talent Development Group (TDG) and squad.
Connie Powell is 1 of 49 girls to be selected for the U18 TDG, which for the first time this year, took part in two fixtures against their Canadian counterparts.
Divisional Talent Development Officer and TDG Programme Lead Alex Austerberry said: “The TDG programme has a strong history of developing players. We aim to help them understand the demands of the game, developing all areas, on and off the field. We want to develop future senior players who are not only confident and competent, but have the skills required to flourish on the international stage.”
Eastern Counties U15 Girls manager Darren Wright said “we are all thoroughly delighted for Connie. She has put a lot of hard work in throughout her time in the Eastern Counties Girls programme and her selection is very much deserved.”
