This season I need your commitment, I have tried to give you the dates far enough in advance and avoided club fixtures to the best of my ability to maximise players opportunities to be selected for the Eastern Counties women's squad.

The selection will take place via county trials and county matches, from there and there only will you be selected to trial for the Eastern Counties Women's squad.

This is a new proposal for the women's game in our area designed to give the respect the jersey deserves and to hand pick the most talented players to select our region on the national stage.

The county selections will be a new format with all counties trailing in the same location at the same time- the full format will be sent to your clubs and representatives prior to county trials.

This year you have the opportunity to represent your county and well as Eastern Counties- exciting times ahead!!!

5th February Suffolk v Norfolk @ Bury st Edmunds
19th February Norfolk v Suffolk @ Thetford

26th March EC Training @ West Norfolk
2nd April EC training @ Stowmarket ( possible trial match)
9th April EC training @ Thetford

23rd April home v Warwickshire @ towmarket
30th April away v Oxfordshire - coach travel as a squad
7th may away v Leicestershire- coach travel as a team
14th May home v Cheshire @ West Norfolk
