ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2020
REVISED CALLING NOTICE

Dear Club Hon. Secretary

This Notice replaces and supersedes the First Calling Notice sent out earlier. Because of the restrictions consequent upon the Coronavirus outbreak, the Annual General Meeting will now be held, remotely, via Zoom, at 7.00 pm on Friday 26 June.

Information as to how to log-in to the meeting will be circulated as soon as possible. It is recommended that unless you are familiar with Zoom, you go through the steps in advance to make sure it will work on the night.

The Agenda, 2019 Minutes and the Annual Report (and any other, relevant documents) will be circulated by email, and posted on the ECRU website, in advance, on or before June 11.

If you wish to propose any person for any of the committee roles, or put forward a motion for debate at the meeting (these must be proposed by one club and seconded by another) these must reach the Hon Sec by 31 May.

There is an opportunity for any matter to be raised, from the floor, for discussion (but not for any voting or formal decision), this appears as item 10 on the outline agenda below. Given the special circumstances we find ourselves in this year, I would ask that if anyone wishes to raise anything under item 10, they give us prior notice, in writing.

If the nature of any proposal received is such that debate and voting could not reasonably take place via Zoom, then the AGM may have to be adjourned until a date it can take place conventionally.
