Eastern Counties Rugby Union

The first Sunday of this friendly competition saw 22 sides playing at Colts level – an absolute record - 414 boys in total – brilliant !!
There was a real positive approach from all clubs in solving problems to make this happen.
Every club scheduled to play away travelled, even those that were short in numbers, thanks to those clubs who lent players, ensuring that game time for many was maximised.

Many close scores, and very few one-sided games.
