Eastern Counties Rugby Union

Eastern Counties are through to their first Twickenham final since 2004 with a hard fought 26-19 win over Northumberland on the synthetic pitch at Kingston Park in Newcastle.

Tries by Martin Wolfenden (Cambridge) and Ben Murphy (Colchester), both converted by James Stokes (Cambridge), plus three penalties for Stokes and one for Ben Penfold (Cambridge) was enough to see them through to the County Championship Division Two final at Twickenham on Sunday 31 May 10am kick-off.
