Eastern Counties Rugby Union

The side is made up of a variety of players from clubs in all counties under the Eastern Counties bracket of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

The most notable inclusions can be found in the front row, where Will Lankfer of Wisbech RFC and Thomas Jermy of Woodbridge RFC start at Loose-head Prop and Tight-Head Prop respectively, with Lewis Pickford of Ipswich RFC starting in between them at Hooker.

Captain James Dobler of West Norfolk RFC starts at No.8 and will look to lead his side by example by demonstrating not only his leadership skills, but also his physical and technical attributes on the pitch in Essex.

A cross-county half-back pairing of Sam McCluskey of Wymondham RFC and Jack Baird of Shelford RFC at 9 and 10 respectively is intriguing also, with both player’s looking to make a big statement out on the pitch and make an impact in the opening stages of the contest.
