Eastern Counties Rugby Union

Eastern Counties Women play their final pool game in the Gill Burns County Championship, taking on Oxfordshire at home. The game is being hosted by Stowmarket RFC and kicks off at 2pm.

Both teams will be looking for their first win of the campaign and whilst there's no chance of either team progressing to the knock out stages, both teams will be looking to finish their campaign with a win.

Eastern Counties have so far not performed to their best, although last week's game away at Notts, Lincs and Derby showed signs of a what they can do.

There a few changes to the team, with Georgie Palmer returning as scrum half having had personal commitments last week and Libby Lockwood coming in at openside flanker having completed her club commitments with Saracens.

Captain Lizell Heather who has led from the front in the first two games is promising the team will end the season with a bang.
