Eastern Counties Rugby Union

this weekend against Oxfordshire, selection for the final 22 out of a squad of 36 has been extremely tough for head coach Aaron Swanborough.

Head coach Aaron Swanborough said “ We have had a great lead up to the championship, great training sessions, some great results in our friendly games, in particular against Durham. But we now need to keep the momentum going into the start of the campaign against Oxfordshire. Selection was tough due to the sheer talent of these players, but unfortunately only 22 could be selected for the game”.

With the result just swinging Eastern Counties way last season in the last few minutes they are expecting a tough match. The game is being played at Stowmarket RFC, with kick-off at 14:00.
