With an away game against Cheshire
Eastern Counties Men begain their Bill Beaumont County Championship campaign with a game away at Ceshire, which will be hosted by Sale FC. This should be a tough fixture, but one that is also very winnable with the strong side selected even with players in region having other commitments such as Norfolk finals and Bury st Edmunds 7s on same weekend.
Following fixtures are against Lancashire hosted at Cambridge Rugby Club on the 11th May and Northumberland hosted by Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club on the 18th of May.
This year we have a mixture of youth and experience in the side with 10 players making their first appearances for Eastern Counties. Ewan kingdom form the university of East Anglia makes the step up from Eastern Counties U20s to the senior side for the first time following in the footsteps of Eastern Counties U20s team mate Fin Creighton from Cambridge who did the same last year.
Saturday's fixture kicks off at 3pm
