We have had 10 clubs confirm for this Sunday (15th) at Ely :-

Ely, Wisbech, Newmarket, Cambridge, N Walsham, L&Y, Colchester, Woodbridge; Hadleigh, Harwich
Start time at Ely will be 12.00 mid-day
Please arrive after 11.15 – to enable Ely to clear their morning domestic games
Could players please arrive changed
Ely will be selling BBQ food & the bar will be open
All games – 15 minutes one way
Each team playing 5 x 15 minute one way games – mostly against sides you would not normally play
It will be non-competitive – so don’t worry if you are short of numbers or without a front row – agree conditions (borrow / lend if needed) with your oppo & ref before each game
Sides to equalise numbers if short – with or without contested scrums – borrow, lend, steal to get a competitive game
Just a relaxed “old fashioned” festival that allows U16 players a “last hurrah for the season” and a playing enjoyment.
There are no winners – except the game of rugby
