Eastern Counties Rugby Union

Following a successful trip to Northumberland a couple of weeks ago EC Women travel south to take on Hertfordshire Women in what proves to be a tough opening encounter in the Gill Burns Div 1 County Chamnpionship.

The team will be led by Lizzel Heather (Thurrock TBirds) who continues as captain, she will be supported on the field by Sophia John (Saracens) as vice captain. John switches from back row where she played the whole of last year's campaing, to front row where she's been making starts for Saracens Women's Development XV this season.

Today's game will be played at Fullerians RFC, kick off is 2pm.
