Eastern Counties RU are pleased to announce the appointment of John Langford as the new Chair of the ECRU Club Development, Funding & Facilities.

John brings a wealth of experience with him to the role having held several club & county committee posts in the past. John is not unfamiliar with a committee role at Eastern Counties RU either as he has represent the county of Norfolk RU on the Eastern Counties committee in the past.
John has already been working as a member of the ECRU Club Development Funding & Facilities committee, taking on the roll as Lead for the Club Development and Vice Chairman in 2019.

With John Winders now stepping down as Chair and concentrating on his roll as President of the CB,
John said: “I have been appointed as the New Chair and will endeavor to continue the excellent work that John Winders has been doing over the last 7 to 8 years, along with Andy Spetch the lead for Funding Facilities. I’m looking forward to supporting the Club Development, Funding & Facilities team supporting the Clubs going forward in these difficult times.”
