Current issues at the RFU
The RFU have acknowledged Council request for a formal meeting to discuss the bonus payment issues and this will take place on Friday 10th. January.
As stated in my most recent brief I sent you a Draft motion for Clubs that feel that an SGM of the RFU should be held; this has now been refined and you can access this at: https://forms.office.com/e/BgFa7p9BkR
Clubs must decide for themselves as to whether to support this motion, and the link above has been sent out nationally by my colleagues; given the recent Media comments, including a motion of no confidence from the Referee Societies and the Championship Clubs it is looking likely that this motion will succeed. It would help if you let me know if you send this in - thanks
A couple of reminders for you:
1. RFU Regulation 5 requires Clubs to submit their most recent accounts to EC, and the deadline for doing this is 31st December – if you haven’t already done so, please forward to: davidgrobinson43@gmail.com
The same date applies to the Club Facility Audits, which help us to identify Clubs where we might be able to help: these to Stuart Eades, the RFU Facilities Executive: StuartEades@rfu.com .
