Eastern Counties open their Billy Beaumont Cup county championship campaign against East Midlands at Wellingborough on Saturday (3pm), with nine players from Shelford in the team, five in the pack. The team is captained by Rob Conquest from Cambridge.
Their other group game, against Durham, will be played at Bury St Edmunds RFC, the following Saturday, May 17 (2.15pm).
