Eastern Counties Rugby Union

John was a dedicated Rugby man who introduced literally 100's of young players to rugby.

They then played for clubs throughout Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and beyond having learnt at Chadacre College.

Philip left the school in 1980, the same year he was awarded an MBE for services to agriculture.

The Thanksgiving Service will take place on :
Friday 1st March 2019 , 11am at All Saints Church, Lawshall, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 4PA .

Any contributions to a ‘book of memories’ that is being put together can be sent to admin@cosa.org.uk or to COSA Secretary c/o Hollow Trees Farm , Semer , Ipswich IP7 6HX. Tea and coffee will be served in the church after the service. Donations , if desired, will go towards a lasting memorial to John to be at Trinity Park , Ipswich, home of the Suffolk Show.
