Eastern Counties member club Bury Foxes of Bury St Edmunds RFC were very proud to see one of their own being presented with her England Cap at the weekend just gone
Hanratty represents the England Deaf Rugby Team and has now represented her country at both 15 a side and 7 a side rugby.
As part of the 7’s squad, she travelled to Sydney earlier in the year and picked up a winner’s medal as the Red Roses 7’s came away with Winner’s medals in the world cup.
Despite a full day of testing with the England Women Squad on the Saturday just gone, she was still in attendance as Bury Foxes played their cup game against Old Albanians on Sunday afternoon.
Bury Foxes ended up losing the close fought contest with the Hertfordshire outfit, however sit top of their league with 7 wins from 7 games so far.
They welcome any players also, with training taking place on Wednesday evenings at Bury St Edmunds RFC.
