Eastern Counties Rugby Union

After a successful year last year offering girls within Eastern Counties an opportunity to come together to play rugby, we are extending the number of games this season to seven to be held at three central venues.

This is a pitch up and play event open to everyone whether playing rugby at club or school. There is no need to register beforehand, although we do ask that the girls have been taught the basic core skills and laws for their own, and others, safety.

We ask girls to register once they arrive purely so we have their contact details should any future games be cancelled at the last minute due to the weather.

The games are refereed by experienced refs who are keen to develop the girls game. There will be a physio present at all games should there be any injuries and the club facilities will be open.

The dates are as follows:
Sunday 20th September Thetford RFC 1-3pm
Sunday 18th October Stowmarket RFC 1-3pm
Sunday 1st November Diss RFC 1-3pm
Sunday 6th December Thetford RFC 1-3pm
Sunday 31st January Stowmarket RFC 1-3pm
Sunday 6th March Diss RFC 1-3pm
Sunday 17th April Thetford RFC 1-3pm
