Alan Royer RFU RDM has asked me to confirm that Jonathan will be leaving us to take up another RDO post in the West Country.

Alan records his thanks to Jonathan, explaining that, while he is disappointed to be losing Jonathan, he is pleased that another opportunity has opened itself to him within the RFU structure.
He leaves us to journey with his fiancée, who has also been successful in finding employment in the same area, where family members already live – hence the move.

Jonathan started with ECRU in January 2012, and has brought real drive and understanding in supporting the growth in Rugby, particularly in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk, and will be missed by all of us that have worked with him.

Jonathan's leaving date is not completely settled, but will probably be around the year-end, ensuring a smooth hand-over to his successor before he departs.
The recruitment process to find a replacement has already begun, and we will keep you informed as to its conclusion.

On behalf of ECRU I wish Jonathan a smooth transition in his new job, and record our thanks for the energy and time that he has put into his role in EC, and, of course, our hopes that he and his fiancée find happiness in their new surroundings.
