October 2016
Level 8 Consultation
Thank you for taking part in the Consultation on proposals to change the League Structure at Level 8. The voting closed on 30th September and I can now tell you the result of the consultation in each quadrant.
For the resolution to be passed in each quadrant an overall 66% majority of the votes cast and at least a 50% majority in each CB was required
London Three South East be split into
London Three Kent London Three Sussex
fed by Kent CB Leagues fed by Sussex CB Leagues
The proposal did not achieve the required overall majority and was not approved by Sussex
Therefore there will be no change from the existing structure.
London Three South West be split into
London Three Surrey London Three Hampshire
fed by Surrey CB Leagues fed by Hampshire CB Leagues
The proposal did not achieve the required overall majority and was not approved by Hampshire
Therefore there will be no change from the existing structure.
London Three North East be split into
London Three Essex London Three Eastern Counties
fed by Essex CB Leagues fed by Eastern Counties CB Leagues
The proposal achieved the required overall majority and was approved by both Eastern Counties and Essex.
Therefore the new structure will be implemented in Season 2017-18 in Essex and Eastern Counties. Each CB will shortly announce to their clubs exactly how this will be put into practice based on league positions at the end of the season.
I trust you all have an enjoyable season
