In Round three of the Cup Bury St Edmunds are drawn away to Old Albanians, Diss travel to Tring while Colchester have a home tie against Hitchin. Ties to be played on Sunday 23 November.

In the remaining fixtures Cambridge went down 29-14 to Tring while Wymondham conceded a walkover to Aylesbury. Cambridge and Wymondham go into the Plate competition joining first round losers Southwold, Norwich, Shelford, Holt and Stowmarket.
