that Rachel Wade has been appointed as our Women’s Rugby Team Manager

Her brief includes the development of the Women’s Game throughout our area, ensuring that we participate in the RFU Development Challenge series, and engaging with our County personnel to produce a framework that sustains the Game at all levels

We intend to develop a fuller Development Pathway for all Females that wish to play Rugby, and Rachel will liaise with our Girls Management to draw together the areas that will help us to achieve this aim

This supports our intention to see the development of the Female Game as one of our priority objectives for the 2016-17 season

ECRU wishes to record its thanks to Malcolm Davis, who recently stepped down from this role, for his considerable effort over many years in helping to support Women’s Rugby

We wish Rachel and her Team every success in her role, and are confident that she will receive support from every part of our area
