Nominations are invited for the Eastern Counties representative to the RFU Council
Eastern Counties has a Representative on the RFU Council, elected by the member clubs, for a three-year term of office. At present our representative is Roger Pierson and his term of office comes to an end this year. Roger has indicated his willingness to stand again, but anyone else can be nominated for the post also. The term of office for this election will run from 2021-2024
Anyone can stand for this post, but candidates must be nominated by one Eastern Counties member club and seconded by another. Nominations will need to reach the Hon Sec of Eastern Counties by 28 February 2021. The nomination and seconding can be by separate emails.
If more than one nomination is received, then we will hold a ballot (probably by email) during March and we are required to have completed the election process by 28 March.
Any queries at this stage to Dick Watson, Chair of Governance.
