Eastern Counties Rugby Union

On a fine Autumnal evening, the U17 boys representing Norfolk and Suffolk arrived at Thetford Rugby Club for the first game of a two game series.

Suffolk started the brighter and soon found themselves 12-0 up but for the last 15 mins of the first half Norfolk had all the possession and although they were camped in Suffolk's 22 they just couldn't find a way through.

The second half saw Suffolk go further ahead and this again spurred Norfolk on and although Suffolk saw little of the ball they took their chances well and ended the game the winners 36-0. The return fixture will be held at Ipswich RFC on October 26th. KO 7:30pm. All are welcome
