Sunday 15th 1300hrs
Cambs Festival is at Shelford RFC – manager i/c is Chris Mepham
Norfolk Festival is at Holt RFC – manager i/c is Andy Jermy
Suffolk Festival is at Colchester RFC – manager i/c is Darren Wright, supported by Ross Cowie
36 teams entered from 26 clubs across Eastern Counties entered the first round in November– a fantastic turn-out, and it seems that all teams are once again entered this coming Sunday.
9 sides have entered in Cambs, 10 in Norfolk, and a fantastic 17 in Suffolk.
All games will be 15 minute one way – so at the toss the winning captain can choose ends, or to kick.
The format of the festivals will be different at each county, given the differing numbers of sides entered, suffice to say that all teams will play 4 games.
Normal “new” Under 13 laws apply.
There will be 20/25 minute gaps between games, and some teams may play 2 games “on the bounce” – please be ready to play again immediately in this situation.
Scores will be recorded by numbers of tries.
4 points for a win, 2 for a draw, 1 for losing by 1 try.
Games will be stopped once a 5 try differential has been reached.
It is planned that all clubs will play 4 x 15 minute one-way games at each festival (except beta pool in Cambs, where they will play 3 x 20 minute games)
