Eastern Counties Rugby Union

Easter is a time of year when students return home from college.
Many, many clubs run very successful youth sections, but lose players once they go to university.
Following on from some very successful events during Christmas, and in conjunction with Southwold Rugby Club, Eastern Counties, will promote & support a University Returners/U21 Festival at Southwold RFC this Easter Sunday, 16th April 2017, commencing at 11.30 am. We already have 5 clubs enthusiastically confirmed, and are now looking for 3 others to join them.
This would give clubs the opportunity to remain in contact with their players who are at university, and reap the harvest of earlier years, with players returning to their home club post university.

As an added attraction, Southwold RFC have offered to organise a beer festival and BBQ to complement the festival !! – where a better place to spend Easter?

Eastern Counties will support any club travelling by contributing £125 to the hire of a minibus, and are funding the cost of referee and medical support.
