Eastern Counties Rugby Union

The Eastern Counties women continued there trials on Sunday at Stowmarket Rugby Club. With a lot of the players having rearranged league fixtures and a few away on holiday the event was still well attended. The session focused on core skills which the coaches had highlighted from the previous session and then a game at the end which was extremely positive and competitive. With the final trial coming up on Sunday 19th February and most of those that have attended the last 2 sessions being available, the heat really turns up with selection for the final squad being made on the eve of the 19th.

The Eastern Counties Women’s players, coaches and management want to send a big thank you to all at Stowmarket RFC who made us feel welcome and made it a great day with the facilities and hospitality. The day was topped off with some great hot dogs that had been supplied by our main sponsor MUSK’S Sausages.
