Eastern Counties Rugby Union

We are holding open trials for all female senior (over 18) rugby players On Sunday 27th November 2016 1-3pm at Thetford rugby club, registration prior to start.

This trail is open to all players from within Eastern counties, from this I hope to form 3 county sides that will play a tri-tournament. During these competitions we shall select the best players from the tournament to represent Eastern Counties in the Counties Championship. We have an exciting few months coming up for women's rugby in our area, reintroducing women's representative county rugby which has not happened in some time. This I hope will boost the female participation in the sport spurred on by the England ladies success, earning them the title of the red roses.

Opportunities for women to play rugby within Eastern Counties has never been higher with new teams launching year on year, the level of competition taking place week after week is high, we have more women playing more rugby in more clubs- the future is looking bright for our beautiful game'

No need to pre-register just arrive in good time with your kit do not forget your gumshield (no club shirts or team wear please, we wish to assess you as an individual)
